Tuesday, May 24th, 2011Not really a news update, just a quiet plea to those individuals performing the following tasks on trains this weekend. A typical working burlesque week sees at least one train journey to a venue and this week, with 7 trains over the space of t
wo days, I was ‘lucky’ enough to witness the following:
- Continual sniffing, even after refusing a
handkerchief from a fellow passenger. - Nose Nuzzling. Just kiss and be done with it.
Don’t however… - Full blown snogging for the entirety of a 45
minute journey. I’m all for love, really I am, but not in front of my face.
That’s what the toilets are for. - Nail clipping. I mean REALLY! Is this best place
you could think of to clip your nails sir?! Excuse me whilst I vomi
Ok, rant over, thanks awfully for listening, I’m off to read a book entitled ‘Etiquette on Public Transport’.

Tuesday, May 24th, 2011BESTIVAL BESTIVAL BESTIVAL!!!!! Yes I have survived another summer festival and I only got rained on once!
The last four days have been spent on the beautiful Isle of Wight which, despite the predicted adverse weather conditions, was bathed in sunlight. Seven burlesque shows in three days proved busy, entertaining and above all FUN! It really struck me how lucky
I am to get to work with such lovely and talented people.
